OK. Hi there boys. This is my post about how to have emo style. I know its been a while sense I posted so sorry but better late then never right? OK so its the same for you as it was for the girls: this isnt a tutorial. Its basically a list of things you need. Essentials really. So of course you can guess what the first thing you need is... Skinny Jeans. Lots of them. Usually dark. Like I have said before I dont want you to be like everyone else so you can wear light skinnies if you want. Or even coloured skinnies. They are usually mroe popular on girls but who cares. Rock a pair of red, yellow, purple, green, or even orange pair of skinnies if you want. Whatever floats your boat. Your going to want a bunch of band T-shirts. Some tight. Some not. I dont suggest going too loose with your T-shirts. Some plain black shirts are good aswell. T-shirts and dress shirts. Also you will need lots of hoodies. Any colour really. And no, these dont have to be tight as well. Acually I find they look better loose. Last but not least; belts. You deffinetly need belts. White ones are the best in my opinion because they stand out. You can yous any colour really but make sure you own at least 1 white one. Anyways thats basically the essentials so just buy a bunch of this stuff and style it to your particular style.

Ok so Im just letting everyone know that I TRIED to post about emo style and clothes today but for some unexplained reason blogger wont let me. Unfortunatly they seem to be under the impression that I can read computer and therefor I cannot fix the problem. Well... If this posts then I guess there really was no problem, but it still didnt let me post the last one. So I am not re-writting that whole thing. It was long, dammit! So anyways Im sorry. Maybe I will come back and write it again soon.

Styley [Ladies]

Yeah. So finally I get to the styley. This ones for the Ladies. The Lads will be coming soon.

So you want to be emo?:P Well This is not going to be a tutorial like the last posts about how to have emo hair. This is pretty much just going to be a bunch of writing:P Obviously you are going to need a few pairs of skinny jeans. Now I know you have probably heard that you cant wear them if your a larger girl. Totally not true! I say wear it. Flaunt those hips chicky! Now most of your clothes are probably going to be tight. Thats pretty much an esential when being emo. Your going to want a bunch of tight band T-shirts and tight cute little T-shirts. I have some pics at the end of this post of some T-shirts, pants, etc. You will probably want a few ringers as well (Long sleaved shirts with circular collars). Dark colors are probably best for most of these. Or white if everything else your wearing is black then it wont look "un-emo":P. Studded belts are good as well. Also belts with skulls. Hoodies are good too. You are going to need a few great hoodies. Tight is best. I LOVE HOODIES. Now this one is totally obvious; Chucks. If you dont know what I mean your probably have heard to them being refered to as high tops, low tops, chuck taylors, converse. These are essensial! Any colour can be done with high tops even though you are trying to be emo. Although you are going to want some black ones. You will end up wearing the black ones most, no doubt. Other shoes you could wear are flats. Any kind of flats really; ballerina... anything. :P Dark colours mostly. get some with little bows, dots, strips, etc. You probably want some leggings too. And some shirt things to wear over them. Leggings are super cute and dont care if they are slowly going out of style because I love them. Wear them over long dark shirts. But dont forget that you still want the shirts to be tight.

Now these are just some essensials and suggestions. Dont forget to throw in some of your own style. Make this your own because without your own style you are just another emo kid. Have fun, go crazy, be hot, and smile emo kid!

Emo Hair (guys)

Thats right its the boys turn. So you want emo hair? Well its pretty easy. But before we start Just letting you know that it is important that you have longish hair. You hair will probably go in front of your eyes by the end of this tutorial therefor your hair will have to be at least to the bottom of your nose in thr front. And even longer over the rest of your hair. Like I said to the girls: Maybe you dont want to go full out emo and you just want the hair. This is more common amoung girls to just have the haircut. Most boys with emo hair also have the style. But this tutorial is not about emo clothes, its about emo hair, so back to the point. Emo hair is a great style for any one. And between you and me, The ladies LOVE emo boys.

Step1: Length. Some guys dont mind having long hair. When it comes to emo hair the average length is about right at the bottom of your chin in the front and a bit shorter in the back. But if you feel like you want it longer (or shorter) then go for it. If you really dont want your hair to be very long then you can go with a shorter emo cut. Possibly with a little fohalk. Fohalks ar popular if you want a shorter emo cut. If you want a longer emo cut I should worn you now; It is possible that you will need to straighen your hair. If your worried about your masculinity then maybe emo isnt the way to go:P

Step2: Bangs? With girls you dont really NEED bangs to look emo. But when it comes to you guys its kindof important. Think about it. Have you ever seen a guy with emo hair and no bangs? Even on the internet! Anyways the point is your gunna need them so I guess thats all there is to it.

Step3: Colour: So when it comes to colour the guys have more options that girls. Or so i think. You can do pretty much any colour you want. Black, blonde, dirty blonde, light brown, dark brown, and any crazy colour you want. Not that the ladies cant do this is just less common. So you are gunna have to choose a colour. Any colour is fine because they all really look good with each emo boy cut. So whwat is your favorite hair colour? There you go. or if that doesnt help; What colour do you think looks best on you? You can totally choose 2 colours. Thats actually quiet popular. Usually when you mix 2 colours they are black and brown. But you dont have to do the '"usual". Choose any colour (or colours) you want.

Step4: The cut. Its oimportant to choose where you are going to part your hair. Some guys part it farther to the side because this makes their bangs larger. It you dont want larger bangs then you want to part it closer to the centre of your head... This makes your bangs somewhat smaller. and if you part your hair in the centre than you can also have front bangs as aposed to side bangs. So next you need to choose if you want layers. Luckey you, you get a choice. The girlies dont... they pretty much NEED layers. But you do not. If you do want layers then you probably want them shorter at the top and longer at the bottom. Be sure you dont get too many layers because you will definetly look like a girl... Actually you will probs get mistaken for a girl anyways, but anyways... If you dont want layers than there are other options. You can simply get your hair cut equally all over. OR you can get it shorter in the back and longer in the front. This is a popular choice if you dont want your hair too long. You can definatly rock a fohalk with this cut. Or you can just wear it down.

Step5: St-st-stylin. Dont ask because I dont know why I wrote it like that... So like I have mention before you are going to need to straighten your hair. especialy your bangs. Unless your hair is super straight already. In that case you are the luckiest person ever. If you choose to just cute your hair the same all over you dont really need to do anything else. If you choose to get your hair shorter in the back and longer in the front you will need a bit more work. Your gunna need to straighten your hair. Also many people like to put some gel in the back and mess it up a bit. If you want a fohalk then you need to gel it up into a fohalk. Just a pointer; it looks awesome if you leave your bangs down.

Emo hair (girls)

To some Emo hair is the first step to acheiving your emo look. To some its the only step. Maybe you dont want to go full out emo and you just want to have that amazing hair that you just cant deny. So here is a step by step way to get the hair you want.

In the catogory "emo" some people also place "scene" which is a very different style than emo. Scene style consists of bright colours in your hair as well as your clothes whereas emos are more of a dark bunch. But just for the heck of it we are going to tell you about somewhat scene hair as well because it CAN be emo.

Step1: Choose a length. I say that if you already have long hair then go with that because I like the longer hair more. But if you prefer shorter hair than go with that. Most of the time when emo hair is long it is layered a lot. Make the top layer of hair much shorter than the lower layer. Look at the first picture at the end of this post to see what i mean. If you want shorter hair it is usually choppy as well.

Step2: Bangs or no bangs? If you choose to go with the shorter hair then I suggest bangs. If you have choosen longer hair it doesnt really matter. You have probably noticed that emo hair is usually side bangs but that doesnt have to be the way YOU do your hair. Look at some of the pictures below to see some emo styles with front bangs as well as no bangs at all.

Step3: Colour? You may think that to have emo hair it has to be black. Not true at all actually. Many emo girls have blond hair. and some even have black and blond. A popular (and pretty) choice of colour is to do the top layer a different colour from the bottom. Maybe make the top blond and the bottom black. Or vice-verca. Some people do the front of their hair a one colour and the back a different one. Or even just the bangs. or the tips. there are lots of choices for colours. You dont even have to choose black of blond. You can be truly different and go with any colour you want, be it red, brown, purple, green. Who cares!? If you already have an amazing natural red colour please dont dye it out. That colour is so hard to find and its also hard to dye it back to the right colour. And growing out your roots red over black or blond hair just looks strange. But what do I know. Do it if you want, but dont blame me if you never get back your true gorgeous colour.

Step4: The cut. You need to decide how you are going to have your hair cut. So you have choosen if you want it long or short. if you choose long you are pretty much done. You probably want the layered look I told you about in step one. Find a picture of this thats just right for you and take it to your hair dresser. Ir use it as a refrence if you are cutting your own hair. If you choose short hair then you have more choices on how you want your hair. One way to cut it is to have it shorter in the back and longer in the front. Kind of like a reverse mullet:P Or a reverse bob as some might call it. This cut is somewhat like victoria Becham only much more edgy. This style is one of the more popular ones if you are doing a different colour in the front of your hair. Another choice is just to layer it. Shorter at the top and longer at the bottom. Incredibly choppy hair is important. With this cut many people choose to do a different colour on the bottom and top layers of hair. Or even just big strips of colour. The colour doesnt need to be blond and black. Some girls even do bright strips of green or blue in their hair.

Step4: Styling. When styling your hair Emo you want to make sure your layers stand out. One way emo girls style their hair is by teasing it. Some people think that you can only tease your hair if it is long. Thats not true. I dont have time to write about HOW to tease your hair, but I will post about it later if you need the help. If your hair is short and you want to tease it then go ahead. Make sure to use lots of hair spray. The most popular teased style on short hair is to only tease the top layers and straighten the bottom. Or you can tease the back and straighten the front. If you are teasing long hair it is pretty much the same. Tease the top and straighten the bottom. Many girls with long hair tease their hair A LOT at the top and leave only a small amount at the bottom very straightened.

Another way to style your emo hair is just to straighten it and then use some gel on your layers. This is more popular among short haired emo girls. If you choose to do your hair shorter in the back and longer in the front this is a great way to style your hair. Straighten the front of your hair and then take some gel and stick up the back of your hair.

I hope this helped you choose your emo style hair. Dont only go by what I have hear. Go crazy and make yourself unique. Being Emo is supposed to be about being original with is hard now because of its popularity. But you can still use this emo style as a base and make your hair you own unique style. Half the Emo-looking kids out there arent even really emo. Its becoming more of a "style" then an actual way of living. Anyways my point is...
